This blueberry banana beet acai smoothie is delicious and packed with nutrients. It’s a great way to consume beets. The blueberries, bananas, beets, and acai berry are a great combination. Healthy smoothies give you energy and are packed with so many nutrients.
For this smoothie I used frozen organic blueberries and frozen organic bananas. I used a fresh organic beet, I peeled it and sliced it. I used the acai berry packets sold at the store. This is what they look like (below). Currently both Costco and Trader Joe’s carry the acai berry packets.
I have been trying different combinations with beets and this is one of the best. I wanted to add beets because they are so good for you. They are good for your gallbladder and liver.
Drinking smoothies in the morning really changes the way you feel all day. You not only feel great, but you have more energy. I can really tell the difference on the days I do not consume one.
