Homemade Chicken Broth

This Homemade Chicken Broth is super simple to make and will add tons of flavors to your meals.

Ingredients

  • 1 chicken Bones (whole chicken)
  • 2 carrots
  • 2 celery stalks
  • 1 onion
  • 1 Garlic head
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 5 thyme fresh twigs
  • 1 tablespoon oregano fresh
  • 1/8 white pepper
  • 2 tablespoons bouillon better than bouillon
  • 12 cups water

Instructions

Stove Top Instructions

  1. Place all the ingredients in a pot and simmer for 2 hours. 

  2. Then use a fine-mesh strainer to strain the broth.

Instant Pot Instructions

  1. Place all the ingredients in an Instant Pot. Select the high pressure setting and the timer for 60 minutes. 

  2. When it’s done, use the manual release setting. Once all the pressure has been released remove the lid. 

  3. Then use a fine-mesh strainer to strain the broth.
